QUEENSLAND LIVING HISTORY FEDERATION EVENT

(Please note that this event is open to members of the Queensland Living History Federation and Australian Living History Federation members only).

QLHF Conference – by re-enactors, for re-enactors. 

Conference18 is an opportunity for the Australian re-enactment community for sharing, learning, teaching, trading,  doing workshops and battles, feasting and socialising!

The Conference fee will include a Saturday night feast, with entertainment provided.

History Alive 2018

QUEENSLAND LIVING HISTORY EVENT

History Alive is a combination of activities of the Roman, Viking, Medieval, Napoleonic, Colonial, Victorian and Modern Eras that appeal to all ages!

Visitors to History Alive: A Journey Through Time can participate in Colonial Dance workshops, Fort Lytton Guided Tours and Historical Discussions.

Witness spectacular battle re-enactments of Crusader Knights, Napoleonic Cavalry, WWI & WWII or learn to fence like a Renaissance Spaniard!

Enjoy Viking Cooking demonstrations, the pageantry of the Medieval Tournament plus the unforgettable Fort Lytton Cannon Firings.

Children haven’t been forgotten with daily Costume Competitions, Kid’s Historical Colouring Corner & a wide variety of children’s encampment activities.

These are but a few of the many opportunities visitors have to connect with history each year at History Alive: A Journey Through Time.

Brisbane’s best kept secret, the iconic Fort Lytton National Park, is the perfect backdrop for such a unique event

where more than 600 re-enactors and historians portray and display almost 10,000 years of history.
