Formed in 2016 GI INC is a United States military based Re-enactment group located in South Queensland. Our groups focus is on the US solider through the wars of the 20th Century, the main focus being World War Two.
The group focuses on immersion activities in the field, training takes place once a month, learning how to live in the field, erect a Command Post and conduct patrols. With the focus on the group being learning the skills of a soldier during World War Two.
We also conduct displays at Museums and other events. Our group’s activities at events consist of our re-enactment and Living History displays on all aspects US soldiering.
It’s not all just about the fighting; many of our members are involved as family groups. At present we have female members that re-enact US Army nurses in World War Two.
In recreating an array of everyday life of a US soldier in World War Two, the group’s activities include, but are not limited to, Tactics, Weapons, Rations, Vehicle, Communications and radio and kit displays.
